I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech. My research explores empirical, interdisciplinary, and automated methods to improve the behavior, productivity, and decision-making of software engineers. I lead the Code World, No Blanket software engineering research group and teach SE-related courses at VT.

I am always looking for motivated students to join our research group! If you are interested, please see the lab page for more details about our work and information about how to join.
